Emergency Water and Heating issue

I have a Boilermate 2000 system and until recently all worked well. By accident, the system was turned to Emergency water and heating but since then the system will ONLY work on this setting. The manual states an engineer will need to 'reset' the system but I wondered if there was something I could do instead.

Never heard that one.
Is the knob ok?
If not perhaps a relay has jammed?
