My Pulsacoil 2000 works fine in terms of water heating - But it makes quite a loud humming / buzzing sound on and off every second. Is this normal?

There is a very dim flickering coming from the red light, but its so dim I have no idea if this is residual light coming from the green light behind the casing.

Could someone please advise? I'd be very grateful!

Have you removed the cover to located the noise?
It could be the pump.
If it is could be the pump drive PCB.
You need to have a look and listen.
Be careful of live voltage when poking around!

HI JAmes

It sounds as though you have either a sensor or a pump control board fault, either way you will need an engineer to sort it out.
Have a look in the engineers section of this site to find one local to you (we cover the Midlands).
