pulsa coil 3

Hi! I have since got a bit more used to the pulsa coil 3 but now I have a new problem. Hop you can help!

When the timer for the boost heating comes on the overheat button comes on. Ive been told that this is more than likely a broken thermostat rod. I know these can be ordered and chaged fairly simply however is there a way that I can get hot water in the meantime? Is it possible to switch the two heaters over?

also is there anything else this could be that i need to watch out for?

Hi Mike this is what I dont understand. Ive had he bottom switch on most of the day and the overheat button hasnt turned off however it isnt supplying any hot water. Also I dont have an economy7 meter attached in my electrical cupboard or tariff with my electricity company and since I moved in the only way we have had hot water is by having the timer on for a few hours in the morning. Is it possible that these are wired the wrong way around?

If so is it a case of just switching the wires around and then if needed replacing the thermostat rod? However the PCB board seems to be flashing correctly (2 red lights every second)

Check the timer out.
They are notorious for going wrong.
You need some test leads and or a meter.
Check out what is happening.
If not get an electrician to test it for you.

Mike are you still based in Reading? Im in Cardiff

If I switch the off-peak/peak supply around then that would technically mean that the boost would be on at all times as it wouldnt then be attached to the timer? If that works then it is likely to be the timer, if not more its more likely to be the rod?
