Boilermate II overflow
Can anyone help?
My Boilermate is overflowing from the top of the tank. It is getting so much water that the white overflow pipe cannot clear it fast enough and water is coming out the top and running down the sides. I have currently stopped it by turning off the water at the mains.
At the same time the potterton suprima 40 that supplies it has tripped fuse board and I cannot turn it back on or fuse board trips out again.
Can anyone help with answer to my problem and are these two issues related? All help greatly appreciated.

Re: Boilermate II overflow
Could be related
check the ball valve on the bm ii tank.
and has there been water overflowing onto the bm ii
if so the electrics behind the white cover may have got wet, hence the tripping
another fault could be the boiler and it has over heated and thus vented through the bm ii top tank.
if in doubt you need to get someone out to check
list of advertisers on the home page on here
or google up for one in your area.
or call gledhill who may serve your area or recommend someone

Re: Boilermate II overflow
Thanks Mike.
The ball valve had snapped at the point where it enters the top tank!
Removed the front panel and everything was soaked have now dried out and evrything has fired up....one problem is that the heating is on continously. Do you think the water has damaged something or might things still be a little damp?
regards
