Hi Mike/All

Does anyone know if you have to use the Hex board on the 9kw Electramate 2000 rather than the V29 and what the difference is?

The HEX board has a delay programmed in to turn the heater elements ON a minute or so after the boiler pump has started.

This is to (supposedly) fix a problem with the overheat stat tripping. The real problem is the power relays sticking in the ON condition after being supposedly turned OFF by the PCB. The actual fix is to replace the power relays!

Consequently it is fine in my experience to use the V.29 board in an Electramate provided you set the jumpers correctly.

Thanks for that Mike, I have just posted about using Schneider relays instead of Relpol on another thread, they are much better!
