BM2000, Ideal Classic FF330 - No heating

Hello everyone. Need help again with BM2000 + Ideal Classic FF330
I posted a problem last year which led to replacing my BM's ACB.
My ACB died again and I fitted a brand new one 2 days ago. Here is the problem:

Setup:
Boilermate set to normal operation, clock set to ON, room stat set to max, boiler stat set to max. The boiler fires up and stays on until I think the optimum temperature is reached in the BM, and then it goes off. The length of time that boiler stays on depends on how long it’s been off for. When it goes off with the settings I mentioned above, the fan on the boiler is still running and you can hear the ignition still making a noise and on the boiler’s PCB you can see a transistor flashing. The boiler Sounds normal except there is no flame on the burner (gas valve problem? I don’t know).
Here is the thing, no matter how long the boiler stays on when it goes off, all I get is hot water. No central heating at all.

Pump situation:
-When the boiler is running I checked there was no current being sent to the CH pump hence it is not running. When switching to emergency, pump runs with no problem. Now, the live wire that takes the current to this pump is connected to a terminal block no13 on the chassis (not the ACB’s terminal as the Gledhill drawing seems to show) but it was working with the same wiring 3 weeks ago.
- The boiler pump (marked as primary boiler return) keeps running constantly none stop, regardless of the boiler being on or off or whatever. The only time it stops, is when you switch to emergency.

I hope I have provided enough info for you guys to point me to the right direction.
Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.

the live wire that takes the current to this pump is connected to a terminal block no14 on the chassis

The correct terminal block no is 14. My apologies for the mistake.

Hello Mike. Thanks for the reply.
I fitted the new board myself following the instructions: connected jumpers 1,3,4 and 5, then after initialization removed the jumper 5 and the LEDs shown as they were supposed to. The previous board was fitted by myself as well.

I'm sorry that my answer won't be probably helpful but from the explanation I can see that BM2000 mostly constantly trying to fire up boiler. The boiler works for some time and then switches of either by internal overheating sensor(which is fine but I don't know much about boilers itself) or by any fault but not by BM2000 that's why boiler pump is always on. Then boiler tries to fire up again and can't, which could be boiler PCB or piezo element fault. In the end BM2000 store temperature never reach minimum value for CH operation. To prove it, please provide all temperatures from ACB of BM2000.
As for terminal block pin 14, I'm not at home and can't tell you how my unit connected but user manual says live should be connected to pin 13. Do you have voltmeter to measure what is going on on pin 13 when you think CH should be on? If it goes on and off(when you switch CH off) then I would reconnect. BUT BE CAREFUL OF HIGHT VOLTAGE!!

Just looked at your first post two years ago. It is very rare that PCBs have a fault you described. Those chips can't bust itself, must be something wrong with your wiring or earth. What exactly was the fault with the second PCB? Which chip was faulty on the first PCB? Each chip switches on particular pump. Could be pump coil got short inside or wet.

this sounds like a problem with the internal thermostat on your Ideal boiler, there was 2 different thermostats / models on the market of the FF330, on standard heating boiler and one with the modification for thermal stores, with a higher set thermostat. your BM2000 is sending a signal to fire, but the internal thermostat is auto re sett and will not the gas valve open until temperature is dropped to the max setting on this thermostat. Ask a Gas Boiler part supplyer for a thermal store thermostat, to swop for your lohw set one, this sould work, or go to the ideal service to get this one for the thermal store fitted.
