Should it be totally silent? Empty Should it be totally silent?

Hi,

My Electramate constantly emits a small roaring, nothing noisy, quite a "normal" running noise.
When hot water is asked, the sound changes a bit.

When no hot water or heating is required, is it normal that there is this little noise (even just after the end of the off peak hours, when the system shouldn't need to heat)?

This boiler is so energy consuming that I try to track any possible disfunctionnality!

They will make a noise.
If you look at the books on it.
You will understand why.
