Boilermate BMA 185 fault code 29

Hi,

I have a Boilermate A-class BMA 185 which has suddenly stopped providing hot water and central heating. It is showing fault code 29 at block out c1, which does not appear in the common fault code list. Does anyone know what this fault is or have a link to the full fault list before I resort to phoning Gledhill?

Hi

Fault code 29 is a blocking error and refers to a communication error. It points to a controller error and may need a replacement control board.
You will either need Gledhill or an independant Gledhill specialist to confirm the staus of the unit to determine if a new pcb is required.

Thanks for the replies. Had the pcb replaced, still not working but the guy who did it, not overly familiar with Boilermate, thinks it just needs properly set up although he is unsure how to do it. No longer getting error code 29 but now getting 33! Any ideas? Thanks.
