No lights on Paired Boiler

Post  LMC on Sat Oct 19, 2013 12:19 pm

I have a Potterton Suprima 30 connected to a boilermate II, they are about 11 years old and today I had no hot water... again! The boiler isolation fuse (13A) is fine and there is electricity leaving the FCU. There are no LEDs illuminated on the boiler and I tested the 'mains' in to find no supply voltage. Although, this can't be the same wire that leaves the FCU as one is black/red and the other is brown/blue. This aside, all I have changed between having water yesterday and non today was the thermostat temperature (down to 0), which seems an unlikely cause as the boilermate store temperature and boiler setting are both still at max. I have put it back up now anyway.

I assume this is purely a boiler issue and nothing to do with the boielrmate II? Any ideas?

Well you need a supply and switched live at the boiler.
Sometimes only a switched live.
Google up about your boiler.
All may be revealed.
