Thermal Store not heating Empty Thermal Store not heating

I've got a. Pulsacoil 2000 and for some reason the thermal store isn't heating. It was fine and then the power went out to the building for around 12 hours and since it came back on the store is cold and isn't getting warm again. I've checked the header tank which has water in it and fills if I push the ball float down and the lights are correct including the PCB which is blinking in the normal 2 on pattern. I'm not sure what to try next. If i run the hw tap I get flow but not hot water.

Can anybody suggest what the fault might be?

Well if you had a power cut.
Check to see if any timers are wrong time.
Also try the boost heater.
Books are available free down load from Gledhill

It seems to work with the boost running but I'm not sure it's staying hot when the boost is turned off. I can't see a timer only an off peak switch and a boost switch along with the main power.

Hi
If your Pulsacoil is not heating up on the of peak, there could be only 4 options why.
1. Your thermostat on the immersion is faulty.
2. The immersion is faulty
3. if yours is with a relay fitted, the relay could be faulty.
4. your electric meter is faulty.
If you have some electrical skills, test the first 3 options, or get someone in to do it for you.
If all this is ok, call your electric supplier to fix your meter.
Hope this helps regards
