Adding TRVs Empty Adding TRVs

Am I right in assuming that i can stick TRVs on all of the radiators in my house? Since the heating water is only coming from the BM2000 there is no chance of the boiler overheating (or whatever happens in a conventional system)?

I have a couple of towel rails that don't have TRVs on that I'd like to fit them to.

Also is it now acceptable to put a TRV on the radiator where the roomstat is? With two cats in the house and a 7 year old it is eery difficult to keep the doors to rooms closed, so the hall is consistently the coldest room in the house and the roomstat usually is still calling for heat after all the "controlled" rooms have turned off. The heating is running nicely off a Wilo Smart-A pump.

Yes fitting TRVs to rads is fine, except the hall rad. Why not just turn the room stat down if it calls for heat all the time? Fitting a TRV on the hall rad won't make the rad emit more heat... No actual damage would result from fitting one though.

Didn't really think of turning the hall thermostat down :-) Thanks Mike !

As for the towel rails I'll get to them in the summer when the heating is off, as well as perhaps replacing the BM2000 with something newer that has immersion heaters that I can heat with my solar PV
