Boilermate 2000 Empty Boilermate 2000

Post  Captainworm Sun Jan 11, 2015 7:36 am

Hello
I have a boilermate 2000 system that is about 13 yrs old and we have had it for the last 3 years with no problems. Last night the boiler started making some pretty scary banging noises and the boilermate a gargling noise at the same time. A little concerned I isolated the boiler mate at the mains so j could check it out. Anyway, since powering it back up I now have 4 leds on (didn't think no4 was used) and the heat exchange pump is constantly running however I don't get any status on the les display panel and the boiler is not firing. Not of the buttons work and regardless what I do I can't seam to get it to fire.... Is this a faulty acb??? Thanks craig

Thanks Mike... So would you believe it, after leaving it turned off for several days, I've come to just 'check' it tonight before the engineer comes out and it's powered up and kicked into life!? What's the explanation for that?? And should j still be worried?

Is it normal for the store to be set at 74 - 79degrees?? I thought it was supposed to be between 50 and 60?

No it is right.
You are wrong.
If store drops below 60.
Heating will not work.
All in the book.
