Morning guys.
need some help please
the hot water pump (modulating) and the PCB went down on system.
I have replaced these and reset the system to match the id resistor.
However I have noticed that no the black reset button above the grasslin clock does now not work.
it did work with the old pcb in place?
also the s2 reset not working to reset appliance. it does however display and let me go through menu.
also I can get hot water but heating I have to leave on constant. if I switch heating to timed it appears to just stay on.
the room thermostat is operating fine when heating in constant mode switches on and off correctly.
any ideas please

You need to check the ID code.
Sounds like you may have it wrong.
Check the plugs / sockets too.
Did you handle the board?

No only touched board by edges.
code was A02 which I put in.
what I don't understand is why the reset switch does not operate? the wiring diagram does not show how it is wired. but I presume it just resets the logic on the mcb?
in the manual makes reference to A02 and 2k2 however I was told only to use the first code
regards
Anthony

Are any lights flashing on the front of the unit?
Then the black reset button would be used.

no lights flashing on unit.
originally yes fast red flashing light signifies switch failure
but after replacing pump and board and put code in went out

So the black button is ok now then?
No faults on the top flashing etc.
No need for reset.
So all working ok apart from heating.

neither rest button work the black button or s2 on pcb.
I gather they should still reset if everything normal.
heating works when on constant.
if turned to timed just keeps running
someone made a suggestion to swap over the plug connectors for the pumps j34 and j 32.
however I can't see why I should do that when the schematic wiring diagram clearly shows where they are correctly.
