Smart pumps
Hi all, what's the general consensus of opinions on smart pumps? I'm planning on replacing my Boilermate 2 in the near future, It's working ok, had a few repairs and parts over the years but it's now 17 years old and my nerve's going! Haven't decided which Thermal store to replace it with yet but wondered if I should be fitting a smart pump, or pumps when I do. There are TRV's on all rads expect the bathroom one, I don't know if there's any sort of bypass fitted. All advice welcomed. Thanks

Re: Smart pumps
I don't have any information on smart pumps but I would be interested to hear what you end up replacing the BM II with - please do post. This forum is pretty quiet recently so I guess more and more are being replaced. My BM II is 19 years old now :-o
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Smart pumps
I've been looking at the advanced appliances Thermal stores, "VENTED THERMAL STORE CYLINDER DIRECT SINGLE COIL TSDC".

Re: Smart pumps
Don't you need the one with the built-in F&E tank? Or are you going to fit a separate one?

Re: Smart pumps
My BM2 has the F&E tank tank seperate now, so I'll replace with tank only.
