No heating when on timer mode Empty No heating when on timer mode

Hi

My Boilermate 2000 heats up the radiators fine when it is set to constant and I have to turn the thermostat downstairs up or down to get the radiators hot or not. If I switch it to timer mode and click the relevant timer tabs out, the heating doesn't come on at all and the thermostat doesn't click in.

The house is freezing first thing in the morning as I have to run downstairs and turn the thermostat on and wait for the radiators to heat up! I'm also not sure it is very economical to keep whacking the thermostat up and down all day!

Any advice?

Sounds like the time clock could be faulty.

You could replace the room stat with a programmable one. Then leave timer on constant.
Honeywell do some good ones, but are not the cheapest.
