BM A CLASS OV NEST INSTALLATION 3RD GEN

newbie,

im after installing nest 3rd gen to BM a class- has anyone any idea on how this can be done so water and heating can be controlled?

You will have to study the BM A circuit / drawing in the manual.

But it is a Thermal store
It stores heat ready to use. Just like a battery.
DHW is on demand just like a combi boiler really.

Heating can be timed or constant.
That will be your goal.

You have a supply with in the unit.
And the timer etc for heating.

I presume a room stat too?

How did you get on Barrie .

I have just got my nest in today and had a look.
We moved in in May and the boiler ate had recently been swapped out (may16)
Concerned at the quality of install as there is a mini mcb housing the connector block nest of hell.
I’m a spark and had a look at the wiring and it seems it was an apprentice who undertook this install for sure.

Trying to figure out what is where before I even start looking at how to connect it all up.
