Leak on feed into Boiler Mate II Empty Leak on feed into Boiler Mate II

I have a leak at the top of my Boiler Mate II where the pipe from the expansion tank(in the loft) joins the BM in the airing cupboard. The joint is quite rusty and some around the joint. Can this be simply fixed by clearing up the joint and resetting or does the whole unit need to be replaced?

Should be able to re do the joint.
You do mean the 15 mm connection on top of the unit?
If so you will need a 15 mm fibre washer.
When undoing the joint / nut make sure you do NOT twist the pipe / fitting on the unit.
