Legionella Testing

Post  USTSC on Mon Jan 08, 2018 8:11 am

Hi

I run a sheltered housing scheme of 50+ flats all fitted with Pulsacoils.

Does anyone know what the regulations are around the requirements for a Legionella testing regime where Pulsacoils are installed. We are being advised to have them all tested, particularly because of the header tank being open to the air.

Thanks

The Header tanks feeds the unit.

The DHW is heated on demand. Similar to a combi.

The only factor would be the time the DHW takes to reach the taps to the desired temperature.

Which will / should be the same as a combi.

The risk of Legionella is around zero with these units.

Why? DHW heated on demand only.

If still unsure. Contact Gledhill for more information.
