overheat reset button
The red light on my boiler came on when I used the boost button and the water became cold even though the boiler is warm. From reading some of the other posts it seems as though the boiler overheated and the solution is to press the overheat reset button (little brown cross shaped button).
I have pressed this button but it remains pressed down and the green light is not yet back on (there is however a flashing red light towards the top right hand corner of the panel). It was only a couple of hours ago that I pressed the reset button, does it normally take a little bit of time for everything to start working again?
Many thanks,
Khilan

Re: overheat reset button
The green light is still not on, and the red light in the top right hand corner of the control panel is still flashing. Any suggestions?

The Flashing LED
The flashing LED on the PCB board is usually normal depending on the number of flashes per a second. The system you have is a thermal storage device, you would have to leave the boost on for about 2-3 hours to get a good amount of hot water and the off peak on all night to get the best amount of hot water.
