Well, not quite as "All Sorted" as I thought. It is the Boiler thermistor but not quite as imagined.
New one bought and fitted back into the pocket today (remember the old one was left out of the pocket and the boiler fired until the store reached 77 degrees and clicked off) but the boiler wouldn't fire long enogh to get the store beyond 75/6 degrees which is what the problem was.
So my question to all you guys out there is what could be the issue with the pocket that causes the thermistor to over heat and switch the boiler off?

These things can be a nightmare to sort out.
But basics are.
Your boiler needs to put out 80c to satisfy the thermal store.
Does it?
If it does put out 80c and not heating the store up. Why?
Is 80c getting to the unit?

Answer (possible)
Boiler getting old / scaled up.
Boiler flow & return pipe work could also be partially blocked.
Boiler pump could be getting old / lazy.
Unit could be blocked / sludged up.

A few more things to try.
