how to tell which heater is on?
hi,
in my flat we have a pulsacoil 2000, and there are two switches on the wall next to it - labeled 'Heater 1' and 'Heater 2'. i know that one should be left on at all times, and another just for an hour or so to boost the amount of hot water available, however i can't work out which switch is for which heater. is there any easy way of telling which heater is turned on?
thanks

You can test with a meter.
Or sometimes you can hear which one is heating up.
Take cover off unit.
Switch number 1 on.
And listen near the heaters.

thanks for the reply mike. that sounds like a good idea! just to check, it's the bottom heater than should be on all the time, and the top one that's the boost?
