central heating switching itself on....!!!! Empty central heating switching itself on....!!!!

Hi


Can anybody help...

I have the boileremate 2000 its about 5yrs old and it seems to have a mind of its own, I have turned the timer to off and the system still comes on in the morning and starts heating the radiators. Everything else seems to be working fine....!
One other item I have also noticed that the green led light found on the timer board does not glow as bright.....?

It sounds like you have a version with the "Switch" system that provides electrical emergency backup.
Have you got the "Switch system activated by accident (the silver control knob on the front) as this will overide the controls?
