Boilermate 2000 Empty Boilermate 2000

Post  Anna Millington on Sun Nov 24, 2019 3:33 am

My heating has just decided not to turn off when it reaches the desired temp on thermostat.
The house is now 20 degrees and the radiators are still pumping heat out.
I moved the switch from on to timer option and then to Off and it still kept running.
I have tried turning both the mains off (just for a minute) at the upstairs 'boiler mate' and the downstairs little boiler to see if they would reset but no good.
I am not a plumber or electrician.
Is there anything you can suggest to try before I need to call someone out please?
Thanks

Hi please have a look at my website it has a video which will help you decide if the Gledhill control board is faulty (sounds like it may be from the symptoms you describe), or if it might be something else. http://www.murraymartin.co.uk/ .

Basically warning signs are nothing showing on the red display i.e. not saying -on or similar, not being responsive the the push butten checks (see videos), these are indications that the pcb needs repairing or replacing. I can repair the pcb's or supply an exchange pcb as well, see purchase page on website. Regards Murray
