Hey on are Pulsacoil instead of the of the on peak boost being turned off the fuse switch got turned off when this was noticed the next day it was turned back on all seemed fine, but can't get any hot water, any ideas what could be wrong?? Tryed topping up the overhead tank but thats had no effect, when we turned all the taps on briefly managed to get hot water out of one of them for about 5 seconds.

Same problem as Craig26 above!

Same answer:

Hmmmmm..... probably a stuck pump, or a failed heat sensor.

Try measuring the voltage being fed to the pump while a (should be) hot tap is running, and report back.

Cheers, Mike

Pulsacoil 2000 - No hot Water Empty This sounds like it could be the following

Post  sunny.sahdev Mon Sep 23, 2013 4:53 am

Stuck Pump
Faulty sensor(s)
Failed PCB

Check the voltage to the pump when you switch the unit on. It should be between 50v-110v and should be rotating. If it is not rotating, the pump is stuck. Try manually freeing it.
