no hot water
Hi , i have been asked to look at a boiler mate 2000 with no hot water. I have not worked on these before and from your forum think it will be the Dhw heat sensor but would like to check if there is any check for this or if you can bypass it to check it will work once replaced.customer had no instructions and the ones downloaded off gledhill dont seem to tell me much. Many thanks. Andy

Re: no hot water
No sorry it cannot be bypassed. The only way to 'test' one is to replace it with a new one and test for any difference in performance. (It's a digital data sender that logs into the control board on power-up, so there's NO WAY to bypass it!) Fat lot of help, I know, but replace the DHW sensor anyway, I suggest. You need to rule it out before looking for other potential causes.
Cheers, Mike
