Extra insulation on a BM2?
The water temperature on my Boilermate 2 is set to 75 degrees and at this level, the outside of the cylinder gets quite warm - about 35 degrees. I was thinking of putting extra insulation round the outside of the cylinder and was thinking about using Armaflex 15mm adhesive rubber sheet as being the easiest to fit. Question is, should I be doing this or is extra cylinder insulation on a BM2 a real no-no? Thanks.

No reason why not but don't cover the pumps etc.
And mind the cables.
