Recently my boiler seems to making a knocking noise when it is "doing it's thing" overnight. I have checked the water box on the top which is full to the brim. What other reason could there be for it to start doing this? It has got to the point now that it wakes me up at night.

Hi heleng27,

You mean your Pulsacoil 2000 when you say your boiler makes a knocking sound?

Could be a failing thermostat, or corrosion deposits on the heater elements.

Cheers, Mike

I would recommend you have a Pulsacoil expert visit your property to establish what the is. It would be hard to tell you without further information.
