Storage Tank - boilermate 2 Empty Storage Tank - boilermate 2

The storage tank appears to be leaking water around the welded joint just below the feed pipe and which circles the whole storage tank. Can it be replaced at reasonable cost or alternatively is there anything stopping me installing a small feed and expansion vessel on top of the tank.

Hi boiler2,

First question: Depends what you mean by 'reasonable cost'. A new header tank is available but the price is far higher than a plastic header tank.

Second question: No reason at all. Good idea!

Cheers, Mike
