Leaking Boiler

Hi

I have a Pulsacoil 2000 boiler which is leaking, apparently the pipe at the bottom (which you would use to drain the boiler) is corroded.

I have been told that this cannot be fixed and I need a new boiler. Is this correct?

Also I have been told it will cost £1800 is this a reasonable price?

If you can post a picture of the drain off then we can confirm. £1800 seems a little high.
