Float Valve Replacement
The float on my boilermate has water in it with constant overflow. Does anyone know whether I can replace it with a standard spare from Wickes etc or does it need to be the "proper" Gledhill replacement. Cost at Wickes with new part 2 valve assembly is around £6, cost for Gledhill is around £30 inc PP.

Re: Float Valve Replacement
Just buy a Peglar one from Screwfix.
Change the arms over as the Gledhill one is shorter.
All done.
Set water level low to allow for expansion
