No central heating

Hi
I have a boilermate 2000 app 10yrs old, i tried turning the heating on using the wall thermostat nothing happened the thermostat is not clicking no matter how high or low i turn it to, it is a wired drayton thermostat. (sorry for beihg a bit sketchy explaining problem havnt a clue with things like this)the boiler is working and we have plenty of hot water.
