No Economy 7 electricity supply

Hi

We do not have economy 7 electricity supply available in our apartment.
I have got a pulsacoil 2000 boiler. What should be the best way to reduce energy consumption and making sure we get hot water every morning. The only requirement we have as of now is to get hot water before going to office, we do not need it in afternoons or evenings.

Previously I used to switch it on half an hour early than our bath time and used the booster switch but then gradually it started giving problems (did not heat the water on a regular basis) and now I have to switch it in the normal mode (no booster) at night to have hot water available in the morning.

But this is going to increse my electricity bill since I have the same tarriff at night. Is there any way around I can use in this situation.

Request an economy 7 or 10 meter be installed by your electrical supplier, you could also have a time clock fitted to the pulsacoil to control the time it turns on and off. this will reduce the electric consumptions and your electric bills.

whom do I need to contact for the time clock to be fitted?
Can this be done by an electrician or do I need to get in touch with someone who specialises in boilers or plumbing?

I would advise that you get a Gledhill specialist to do it, you will find one in your area on the home page.
