Does Gledhill still make the Electramate?

Post  Ed345 on Fri Mar 18, 2011 6:51 am

Hi,

I'm looking for a electric only thermal store to provide DHW and CH for a 1 bed flat. I've seen a lot of references to the Gledhill Electramate, but there seems to be nothing on their website, or even an equivalent product.

Do Gledhill still make the Electramate (or an equivalent product), or have they abandoned the concept?

The only product that I can see for sale at the moment is the Thermaflow range, but these are significantly more expensive (~£2500).

Hi Ed,

Sorry but Gledhill No Longer make the ElectraMate.

Alternative electric boilers with wet heating systems are Trianco...

http://www.trianco.co.uk/aztec_classic.cfm

And Electric Heating Company...

http://www.electric-heatingcompany.co.uk/index.php/fusion-boilers/

I'm afraid that they are both expensive systems probably nearer £3000 - £3500.

I hope this helps.

Kind regards
