Timer required? Empty Timer required?

Post  pbomb Sun Apr 10, 2011 4:35 pm

My Pulsacoil A Class Boiler currently has both off peak and peak power supplies with 2 switches on the wall next to it. One is for the peak supply and general power to the unit and the other is for off-peak supply, which over-rides the peak supply when turned on: Timer required? Img00011

The fuse box also looks to have 2 supplies to the boiler: Timer required? Img00012

At present I am on a standard electicity tarrif with a standard single line meter. I'm planning to switch to an economy 7 meter, but was wondering if I would need to install a separate external timer to my off peak supply or can the Pulsacoil A Class automatically detect between the two different supplies once the new electricity meter is installed?

Your help would be much appreciated. Thanks

A time clock on the off peak supply and twin rate meter will reduce the annual cost and consumption of electricity considerably.

Kind regards
