Hello, I have a PULSACOIL 2000 roughly of 5 years old and have been having nothing but trouble with it of late. I have tried too get it repaired but have been unable to find any persons who know how to diagnose the problems. This is a request for anyboby with the contact information of said persons who can come and fix this boiler. I am in the town of Widnes, Cheshire. Thanks.

Hi,

What problems are you having? If you are a keen diyer you may be able to fix them yourself with a little help from the forum.

If not; and you are unable to find a local specialist you can always try Gledhill Response see link below to their website.

Kind regards

Cheers for the reply Gary, much appreciate your time given.
I have a problem with everytime I try to get hot water through the timer (grasslin qe7 plus) before the period of alloted time is finished the red fault light comes on. I thought this may be down to having it on for to long (90 mins)but, when the red fault light is re-set the hot water is enough only for a shower. Also, when I apply the boost button, the red indicator light comes on but then nothing happens. I remember when I first moved in and use this option a `fire-in up sound could be heard but no longer. I will try too sort myself if possible, but if not can you recommend anyone in the Widnes, Cheshire area? Many thanks.

HI,

Sorry don't know of anyone in your area, it sounds like you have an immersion element issue, do you have access to a multi meter?

Simple test with a multi meter is an ohms test on each element.

Let me know if you want me to talk you through the tests.

Regards

Gary
