CA Valve dribble
Hi,
Is it normal for the CA valve to dribble occasionally? I've found that after turning the mains water supply off and back on I do get a small dribble from the valve into the tundish. The valve can release a little more water for a few days, never continually running.

Re: CA Valve dribble
It's not unusual but neither is it correct. I wouldn't do anything about it unless the dribbling becomes continuous though.

CA Valve dribble
Hi,
Could it be that the expansion tank has no air pressure? allowing shock waves in the water supply to lift the safety valve for a moment.
To check, release system pressure to zero and measure air presure of vessel with tyre pressure gauge. Pressure should be the same as initial charge pressure i.e. 1 bar.
