Heat Exchanger Air Trapped Empty Heat Exchanger Air Trapped

Hello,

I think I have air trapped in my system and I do not know how to get it out, I've tried increasing the pressure with the valve at the bottom but it won't increase and I've tried relieving the air valve at the top and nothing comes out. The problem I have is that it sounds like the heat exchanger is trying to heat air i.e. a hissing noise when the store is heating up. Does anyone know if this is air trapped in the system and how to get it out or if there is a problem with the heat exchanger? I have also bleed all radiators and they had no air trapped.

Thank you

When you say nothing comes out.
No air or water?
I would try dropping the pressure.
And then examine the auto air vent.
As it could be blocked etc.

Thank you for your reply, yes no air or water comes out of the auto air vent. How do I drop the pressure? Is this just using the red dial near the bottom of the system?
