Central heating almost always on Empty Central heating almost always on

My Gulfstream A-Class is almost always on for the central heating. The boiler is controlled by a timer/thermostat in the hallway and will fire up to heat the radiators regardless of the time and temperature settings there. The timer has an indicator to show when the boiler is lit but that doesn't show during these faults. When the central heating is on, all of the radiators heat up.

I have tried to switch the boiler itself to hot water only, but some of the radiators still heat up.

I'm just trying to get a feel for what might be up with it as from what I can understand, it's generally better to replace these boilers than repair them. However, if a cheap fix is possible I'd prefer to do that for now.

Does anyone know or have a good guess what might be up with it?

Thanks,

Mark

Hey,

Did you manage to find a solution to this issue with the Gulfstream AClass CH/HW always being on please? I am having the same issues and will like to know how yours was resolved.

Thank you

Buki
