heating constantly on Empty heating constantly on

Hi, quite a journey trying to sort this one out - have new Baxi boiler, both pumps replaced, new PCB, new motor for three way port (though valve not actually replaced) and new clock. But with switch to off position, still getting heating on all the time. Spent £50 so far on Gledhill help line. They told me to put jumper 4 - but this is systemate III and docs say put jumpers 3 and 4. so latter is what I have now.
Engineer has not been able to solve problem so far and I just end up buying new parts - any thoughts very welcome

Could be the 3 way valve.

heating constantly on Empty three way valve replaced

Post  Johnmac Thu Oct 24, 2013 4:48 am

Got the three-way valve replaced but it took an email to sunvic to realise the lever has to be fully over the to left in the normal use position (it doesn't move during normal operation). That stopped the heating coming on - so result. But now the pressure keeps dropping considerably so waiting for the engineer to work out why - any thoughts welcome

heating constantly on Empty heating pump on constantly

Post  Johnmac Thu Oct 31, 2013 10:05 am

Hi, so nearly there. Three way valve replaced and now heating issue of being on constantly has been resolved. Only issue left seems to be that the new heating pump seems to be on all the time (at least it sounds like that). Can I double check if this might b e a PCB issue - In have Systemate III so have jumpers in slots 3 & 4 on a new GT155 board?
Any other thoughts?

Pretty well everything has been replaced now - and engineer not sure about this one.
