Changing the Pump Help!!!! Empty Changing the Pump Help!!!!

Post  simonc12 Mon Dec 09, 2013 3:22 am

Good Morning,

Need some help.

The header tank leaked all over the water heater. Blew the PCB and the pump needs replacing as this seems to be shorting out the PCB.

Pump is on order. Do you have a list of instructions and photos of how to change the pump.

Many Thanks, Simon

Turn pump valves off and if they work / don't leak.
Then change the pump complete.
Or the pump head.
If the valves leak.
Then drain unit, remove pump and valves.
Remove brass housing fitted with single check valve.
Fit the above to the new pump along with the valves.
Fill and bleed pump.
Add inhibitor for a proper job.
