No hot water
Hi mike,
I have a pulsa coil 3 supplied with econemy 7 electric, I have been havin a few problems with the temperature constantly changing, this has now become worse and is now not even getting hot 90% of the time. I have changed the pump and dhw sensor, when it does get hot it now maintains the temperature. I have resorted to bypassing the pump speed control board and now have the pump on a manual switch which is not ideal but does provide hot water. I think it is the pump speed pcb which is faulty any suggestions?
Thanks

Re: No hot water
It's rare for this to be caused by the PCB. They usually either work correctly, or not at all.
Could be the PHE sensor failing. This can give these symptoms, or also a scale contaminated heat exchanger. Does the return pipe (the one with the pump in) get hot in normal use? If so then it's scale.
Cheers, Mike
