help!

i have a 14 year old boilermate II and have recenty changed the pump delay timer board. the pump is now running constantly and is getting very hot. also the boiler will fire initialy when the boilermate is plugged in but switches off after about 30 seconds, all thermostats are set to max and still no hot water or heating. could this be to do with the re fill of the system perhaps air blockage?

Sounds to me as though there is no circulation from the boiler to the Boilermate.

This is probably due to lack of water in the system. Have you checked the water level in the header tank on top? If it is full to the marker line then the problem is probably a blocked internal cold fill pipe. A common fault on Boilermate IIs! The fix is detailed on the Boilermate II page of my website.

Cheers, Mike
