We have a clear, upfront, open and honest pricing system. Our rates are clearly shown here and on our website and our call centre staff will make customers fully aware of our rates at the time they book their job. Our engineers will always show a comprehensive description of work carried out and a full breakdown of labour and material charges are shown on all invoices.

In a recent survey our transparent pricing structure was very much ‘middle of the road', and when combined with the quality service that we provide, our comprehensive back up service and guarantee, our charges are very competitive and value for money.

Labour Rates: There is a minimum charge of one hour on all jobs, thereafter work is charged in 15 minute increments. All rates exclude the cost of materials. The labour price quoted will not change if the original job over runs.

Materials supplied by M K Group Ltd will be charged at cost plus 20%.
All work carried out is guaranteed, as are all parts that are used when they are required (we will not install a part until we have quantified that it is faulty, and should we make a false diagnosis - (a rare thing) - we will either re-install the original part or where this is not possible, we will not charge you for the new part).

Material collection time for non stock items will be kept to a minimum - any charge will be agreed with the customer in advance.

Having had three local plumbers look at our Gledhill, all fitting different parts and costing lots of money (and still not working properly), We called MK Group. They diagnosed the part as a faulty PCB. They had the part in stock and fitted it later the same afternoon. It has been working without fault for three weeks and I would highly recommend their kind, professional and reliable service.

We called M K Group to attend our faulty Gledhill, The engineer was very polite, he found the fault with ease and had the parts required on the van. My husband and I are extremely happy with the service provided and wouldn't hesitate to use / recommend this company.

I called Gary from MK Group to attend my Pulsacoil 3, after 2 other engineers came to my property and said i would need a completely new system, Gary was recommended to me.

He came diagnosed the problem straight away and fixed it within two days saving me over £3000.

I would highly recommend Gary and his team.

I would just like to say how grateful my family are to MK Group, we called them at 17.00pm yesterday as our PulsaCoil wasn't working and we have two young children, an engineer arrived at 7.15am this morning and has already replaced both the faulty immersion heaters! We now we have hot water again.

My husband and I waited in for two days for british gas to come and fix our gledhill pulsacoil, we called MK Group today at 3pm by 7pm they had fixed it!

Brilliant service and I would not hesitate to recommend you! we will be cancelling our british gas service.

I live in SW London, I was finding it very difficult to find a local specialist to come and look at my gledhill pulsacoil a class.

I was quoted extortionate rates and then my neighbour recommended this website and in particular MK Group Limited.

I called MK Group on Wednesday night and the engineer came on Thursday, he had the parts with him and when he had finished I was so shocked that the bill only came to £135.00.

I would like to thank the polite and efficient staff of MK Group and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I called to get an engineer out yesterday Tuesday. MK Group came and fixed my boiler all parts in stock and on the engineer's van. The job was completed by 4.30pm and I am looking forward to a nice hot bath tonight :-).

I would like to say a massive thanks to mk group!

We thought we had everything covered with our boiler insurance, our systemate decided to pack up last week, I call domestic and general only to be told the systemate isnt covered (Im not finished with them yet!)

After numerous calls to local plumbers we were given mk groups contact details as gledhill specialists, I called them on saturday night and as we have two young children they came out yesterday (sunday).

The problem was sorted in little over an hour and I was more than happy to pay the very reasonable bill of £105.00 parts and labour.

Again many thanks mk group we wouldnt hesitate to recommend you to our neighbours!

Just like to say a big thank you to mk group for coming to fix our systemate 2000 today, the guys were polite, efficient and very knowledgeable.

I did call Gledhill Response and they wanted over £400 to come out and quoted 2-3 weeks to do so, I called mk group yesterday at 4pm and they came today and fixed it while they were here for just over £100.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you and have already sent an email round to the other villagers!

Prompt efficient service, I was having numerous problems with my hot water and central heating system and had already had a national heating company around three times, who just kept replacing items!

I asked Gary to attend and within a couple of hours the system had been re-wired, the fault fixed and all back to normal.

Good job, good service and good price... and all on the bank holiday weekend.

Wouldn't hesitate to recommend MK Group Ltd!

A quick thank you to MK Group, called them yesterday to attend to our pulsacoil having called Gledhill over two weeks ago... anyway long story and wont ever be calling them again!

MK Group came today had all the parts and fixed it straight away, It took a little over three hours but at last we have hot water again.

I first tried Gledhill Response, they offered me a fixed price repair at £399 (this included a 12 month cover on all other parts and labour) I thought the price was reasonable, however they said that they couldn't attend for at least a week, not ideal with all this snow we have had and no hot water.

I then called my local plumbers - Pimlico Plumbers, quoted me £110 per hour, said they would come and diagnose the fault then have to order the parts and return to fit them in a few days. Again not ideal.

After trawling Google I found pulsacoil2000(dot)co(dot)uk and gledhill-pulsacoil(dot)co(dot)uk both leading to the same site (Vedhas).
I called Vedhas based in Luton, they quoted me £125.00 per-hour plus VAT, plus parts. I asked if they carry the parts in stock the operative said "No, we can't carry parts in stock because they would be damaged in transit, they would come and fault find and carryout a service and return with parts on another day". I was slightly bemused, I was told that PulsaCoils have no serviceable parts (alarm bells started ringing) I asked him what is included in a service "we service the PCB, the relays and the immersions, it will only take about one hour, maybe two with the fault find" I searched Vedhas in Google and found that they use subcontractors and are not specialists but a jack of all trades, I immediately ruled them out. check electriciansforums(dot)co(dot)uk/.../35455-email-vedhas

I then called the next company on the Google list pulsacoilrepairslondon(dot)net (no answer)

Then late last night I stumbled across the forum, (Thank you Mike brilliant forum) I searched the repair specialists section and found MK Group Ltd.

Having seen the negative... and positive reviews of MK Group Ltd on this site I was a little apprehensive about using them.

I called MK Group Limited at 9.00am this morning, I spoke with a very polite young lady who took my details and offered me an option of services (fixed price repair and standard rate repair) I opted for the standard rate repair, I was quoted £99 for the first hour and £66 per hour thereafter plus parts at cost price plus 20% handling charge.

Two gentlemen arrived this afternoon Dale and Gary, they diagnosed the problem in minutes, it was burnt out relays and a faulty overheat sensor, It was repaired in under an hour at a cost of £99 Labour £81.08 relays and £17.05 sensor - Totalling £197.13!

As the gents were leaving I took a look inside the van (fully stocked with only Gledhill parts). They informed me that over 95% of all jobs are completed first visit.

I can only speak as I find, MK Group Limited have been a professional, attentive company from the outset, honest and upfront about the charges and the engineer are very friendly and knowledgeable.

I would not hesitate to recommend them, in fact I have already recommended them to my neighbour.
