Post  hazza Sat Feb 05, 2011 11:39 am

Hi all,

I accidently switched on the OnPeak supply about 3 weeks ago and didnt realise it was on till a few days ago, having switched it off, now aftr a ew night i realise that i now get no hot from the Off Peak supply it just dont heat up over night aymore. The onPeak works OK so i'm having to leave it on all the time now.

Only under 12 months ao, I had 2 new heating elements, 2 thermisters a PCB and water pump, so a doubt it can be any of these parts at fault.

Can any one help or help whati should be looking to have replaced?

You need to have the bottom heater checked and the rod stat.
Also check any fuses etc.
From source ( fuse board) to switch.
Flexes need to be checked as well as connections.
If in a really hard water area the heaters can go in 12 months.

I agree with Mike, those are the points you need to check. I would also recommend while you are testing those point, you ensure they are no leaking.
