Re: water is coming out scolding HOT!
What about the hot taps?
On the PC2000 the water will be 50 to 55c
Which is too hot for a shower.
Look like your shower may be faulty.

Re: water is coming out scolding HOT!
yes the taps too are burning hot, I have tried all the taps ( 3 sets) and 2 showers and its very hot.
last night i had a shower (the first hot water used all day) and it was luke warmish, with one burst of decent hot water towards the end of 6/8 minute shower.
I put the booster on for an hour, and tested the water again - it was very very hot
This morning when i ran the taps, again it was very hot

Re: water is coming out scolding HOT!
It could be sensors
Or pump
Or Pump drive board.
Before you put the boost on.
Feel the 2 pipes on top of the unit.
If they are hot then boost would not be required.
And the stats need to be checked.
You really need some one to check all this.
Look on here home page list of advertisers.
Or Google up for Gledhill repairs in your area, try different approaches to see who you can find.
You could ask Gledhill if they could recommend anyone.
Where are you based?
If every one put that.
Perhaps an engineer on here would respond.

Thanks very much - I have someone coming next week now.
Thanks for the advice though, i will try what you say, as i hate to have someone round with no idea what it might be, as i don't want to be ripped off!
