No Hot Water Pulsalcoil 2000 Empty No Hot Water Pulsalcoil 2000

Post  gilbertcat Mon Mar 16, 2009 4:30 am

Our tenant reports no hot water. Green neon is on and there is heat within the unit. Pump can be rotated with small screwdriver when cap removed. Red LED flashes twice every second. All mains switches are on and header tank full.

Any advice would be appreciated. An electrician is going to have a look for me.

Where can I find a competent engineer to repair (Lancaster).

Is the unit hot or cold?

If hot, then this will be sensor failure probably. If cold, then something is wrong with the heaters.

No Hot Water Pulsalcoil 2000 Empty Pump rotating with small screwdriver?

Post  sunny.sahdev Mon Sep 23, 2013 5:09 am

You have said the pump can rotate using a small screwdriver. Is it rotating without using a screwdriver whilst it is receiving voltage greater than 50V? If not the pump is faulty. Also this does not mean the sensors are fine.
