Should green light be on?
Hi
I've noticed that the green 'control' light on the front of the 2000 is actually off. Should it be on? Does it mean my control board is faulty if off?
Thanks

It used to work I'm sure until the tank overheated.

Check the unit is full.
And have you a overheat safety trip in the unit at the top?
If so get 2 new stats with the joiner and remove it.

Green & Red LED for the Pulsacoil 2000
If your overheat stat has been bypassed or removed, (which is safe if you have the retro thermostat rods) it leave the LED display obsolete. If nothing has been bypassed and the system is working fine, the LED may just be faulty.
