NO DISPLAY ON ACB LCD DISPLAY. NO POWER TO BOILER
I have just visited a job with a boilermate 2000 and a potterton suprima. There is no display at all on the ACB LCD display. The room stat is set to max as is the boiler stat and none of the pumps are running. I reckon the ACB itself is needing replaced but would just like to know if anyone else has had this problem in the past and fixed it with a new board. thanks. Oh and the boilermate does not have the optional switch backup if that makes a difference

Re: NO DISPLAY ON ACB LCD DISPLAY. NO POWER TO BOILER
Provided the ACB has 240v AC at the input terminals and you have checked the onboard fuse is ok, it should have a display. If it doesn't then it is certainly faulty. If the fuse is blown, do not simply replace the ACB but trace the cause before proceeding any further.
I have only had this problem on 3 jobs that I have attended in the last few years, but replacing the ACB will rectify the problem.
