Boilermate 2000 High Gas Usage
Hi all
I recently had my A.C.B changed on the Boilermate 2000 to a GT155
Now my gas bill has doubled
I took a look and found only 1 jumper on No4 (I believe this is standard for a replacement board) and Jumpers for this model should be on 1 3 and 4
would this effect my gas usage by so much or do you think there might be another problem.
Thanks in advance

Re: Boilermate 2000 High Gas Usage
Should be on 1,3 and 4.
When fitting put one on 5.
Switch on.
It will goes through a routine.
When ON shows on display.
Switch off supply, remove jumper from 5 and all done.

Thanks Mike for the reply
jumpers set with no errors but burning gas like a good'en
using ideal boiler set to max but whole house is burning up with the heat
heating turned off just hot water but the heat is pretty unbearable. running around 100kw a day when should be about 30kw
do you think it's maybe a duff board or scaled on a sensor as boilermate always seems to be asking boiler to switch on very often.
Thanks

Hi Jumper
As on all 2000 type appliance, with the standard factory set jumper (in position 4), the pcb do not know, if you have a Boilermate or Systemate or Gulfstream. From this of course, it will operate in “ backup mode” means, heating on all time with no control, hot water on all time, boiler pump on all time, boiler call on all time .
If you still have the old PCB, use the jumper from there to set your pcb correct or alternatively, go to a computer shop and ask for some jumper ( only sum pence) to set your pcb. Switch the Boilermate of, set the jumper, and switch back on again.
Kind regards Master Mario at Mario’s Boiler Service
