replacing boilermate 111

I am considering replacing a boilermate 111 with a boilermate bp, looking at the Y plan wiring diagram, it shows a Live pick up on terminal 11
from the boiler terminal pump to the system pump, My boiler is an oil fired Wallstar & has four terminals, L. N,E, & SL, no pump, do I take a second pick up from the boiler live to the system pump?

No only if the pump is connected via the boiler.
As in pump over run.
Boilers have L.N.E basic boilers
Or L.N.E and SL ( switched live)
Some boilers control the pump So then you may have L.N.E. Sl and Pump live
In your case your pump will go to number 10
Forget about number 11.
When you change the BM III to a BM BP you will need to buy extra;
2 channel programmer
wiring centre
3 port valve
New pump ( unless your are good)
Pump valves
Fittings and you will need some compression 22 mm and 22 mm street elbows.
As the configuration inside the unit is tight, very tight
A straight bypass valve
A 1/2" male DOC
Inhibitor x 2, 3 or 4 litres depending on unit size and system.
Immersion heater and stat. ( as the BP comes with a blank fitted.)
Cables and flexes etc to wire it up.
You will need a 3 amp supply to the Y plan side
And a 13 amp supply for the heater.
And I have most likely forgot something too!
Have a look at the Albion Mains flow unit.
It might be dearer but easier and cheaper in the long run.
They will make them fairly quick to order through a merchant.
